Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi – a long-time transfer target of the Giallorossi – has come out in the open and admitted in a recent interview with Corriere dello Sport that his ambition is to return to the Italian capital and represent Roma colours.
“I want to return home,” he told the Italian newspaper. “And after the disappointment that I experienced in the summer window I know I’ll make it happen.”
“Because for me it will be the perfect culmination of a journey I started many years ago,” he concluded in a snippet of the complete interview which will be published tomorrow.
