Rick Karsdorp did not travel with the Giallorossi to Japan as he continues to stay in Amsterdam despite being called up for Roma’s training.
Yesterday, the player delivered a medical certificate which explained the nature of his absence was due to “psychological issues.”
Roma offered the player further medical advice to assess the extent and validity of these issues. However, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Dutchman declined this option and does not intend to go back to Trigoria anytime soon.
The ex-Feyenoord man is drawing considerable interest ahead of the January window, with Roma having to resolve the situation as soon as possible.
