Roma are at work to mend the situation around Rick Karsdorp and Jose Mourinho following their heated dispute in the aftermath of Sassuolo-Roma.
According to Il Messaggero, Tiago Pinto is personally involved in the dialogue between Roma’s manager and the Dutch fullback. The GM is expected to meet with the player and his entourage upon Roma’s return from Japan later this week.
The newspaper also informs that Karsdorp has accepted to undergo a medical check-up with the capital club which will serve to assess and confirm the player’s psychological state since that is the reason Karsdorp gave to explain his absence from Roma’s recent group training activities.
Finally, the Dutchman will be fined by the club around 30% of his earnings.
