Casa Pia sporting director Diogo Boa Alma was recently interviewed ahead of his club’s friendly with Roma in Algarve. The Portuguese executive addressed rumors linking Mourinho with a job in Portugal’s national team.
“I think he’s happy at Roma,” Boa Alma told Tuttomercatoweb. “He’s doing a great job. Winning the Conference League was a great achievement, he has won all three European competitions and I think he is the greatest coach in the history of Portugal.”
“I know it’s his desire to coach the national team but I don’t believe it will happen now that he has a contract with Roma.”
