Lorenzo Pellegrini was forced to forfeit yesterday’s friendly with Casa Pia at halftime following a heavy blow to the tibia.
The Roma captain was in visible pain and was replaced before halftime for precaution. However, his status remains unclear at the moment.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Pellegrini will undergo further tests to assess the extent of the injury later today. The hope is for him to be able to avoid a long injury stop.
