Atletico Madrid are reportedly closing in on Roma target Caglar Soyuncu of Leicester City.
The Turkish defender had been linked with the Giallorossi earlier in the summer as an additional reinforcement for Jose Mourinho’s backline.
However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Atletico are currently leading the race and the favorites to sign Soyuncu in January.
Negotiations are on-going between the two sides, with Roma falling behind in the player’s preferences.
