Sassuolo sporting director Giovanni Carnevali was recently asked to comment on the growing rumours of a potential January switch to Roma for midfielder Davide Frattesi.
In an interview with Sky Sport, Carnevali clarified the situation and mentioned interest from Premier League clubs as a potential threat to Roma’s own interest in Frattesi.
“We have received requests for some players, but we would like to keep all players including Frattesi,” said Carnevali. “We remain vigilant, let’s see what kind of opportunities will come up.”
“With Roma we have built an important relationship over the years, but I want to mention that Frattesi has offers from the Premier League.”
