Torino manager Ivan Juric addressed the recent rumors linking his team captain, Sasa Lukic, with a January move to Roma following the Serbian international’s falling out with Torino top management in the form of sporting director Davide Vagnati.
In his press conference appearance earlier today, Juric denied the rumors, arguing Sasa Lukic’s importance: “He’s always shown full availability to play, even when he was at risk of missing the World Cup due to injury.”
“He’s a very reliable lad, I can see he’s full grit and conviction: for me he’s a crucial player, and a point of reference for the whole team.”
“I expect him to have a fabulous rest of the season,” Juric concluded.
