Nicolo Zaniolo was forced to step off the pitch in last night’s win over Bologna.
The Roma attacker touched his right knee and asked to be promptly replaced. Upon exiting the field, the 23-year-old was seen kicking a water bottle and storming off into the team’s dressing room.
According to Il Tempo, the injury does not appear to be serious and is considered only to be a knock. However, the player will undergo tests later today to assess the extent of the injury ahead of big match on Sunday with Milan.
For now, the capital club expect Zaniolo to be available then.
