Roma wide man Nicola Zalewski spoke about the team’s reaction late in the second half to last night’s rainy Serie A affair.
When learning of Vincent Candela’s high praise for him, Zalewski told Roma TV, “He was a great player, I’ll try to do even better than he did, but I know it’s very difficult.”
On the atmosphere in the dressing room after the final whistle, Zalewski remarked, “We are happy to have scored a point against a great team in a great stadium. The goal was to avoid going home empty handed.”
“We did well to remain focused until the end and make the best of the opportunities that came our way.”
