Roma midfielder Gonzalo Villar is on the move again after a disappointing six-month loan spell at Sampdoria.
The Spanish player is reportedly closing in on a return to Getafe, where he spent the second half of last season, reports Sky Sport.
Roma are finalizing his transfer on the basis of a loan with option to buy which could turn into an obligation upon the fulfillment of certain performance-related criteria.
He will be reunited for a second time with his former Roma teammate Borja Mayoral.
