Roma prepare new contract until 2026 for Paulo Dybala

Andy Mattioli

Roma are reportedly working to advance a new contract for Paulo Dybala.

The Argentine footballer signed with the club in the summer on a three-year deal with an option to extend his stay.

Moreover, the original contract included a €20 million release clause, which Roma now plan to remove.

According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, the Giallorossi want to extend Dybala’s contract until 2026.

Given his impressive output and leadership in the dressing room, the club want to increase his wages up to €6 million – compared to €4.2 million which he presently earns – making him the highest paid player on Jose Mourinho’s roster.
