Roma have reportedly opened talks with Chelsea for Hakim Ziyech’s permanent transfer.
The Moroccan star is the capital club’s first choice to replace Nicolo Zaniolo, reports Italian journalist Alessandro Austini.
If the Giallorossi manage to secure Zaniolo’s exit in the coming days, Ziyech would be allowed to instantly join the Italian club as Chelsea have an agreement with Roma.
Thus, Ziyech’s arrival in the Italian capital will only materialise if Zaniolo were to depart before the transfer deadline.
