Former Fiorentina manager Cesare Prandelli – who had been close to an appointment at Roma in 2004 – was recently asked about the most exciting talents in Serie A this year.
In his interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian technician indicated Roma attacker Paulo Dybala as his favorite player in Italy.
“Dybala is the player who gives me the most joy in Serie A,” he said. “He’s close to Messi in that regard, who is still number one in the world.”
Prandelli gave up his coaching career two years ago after a brief return to Fiorentina from 9 November 2020 to 23 March 2021.
