Ex-Inter attacker Mauro Icardi is being linked with Roma as he continues to seek a return to Italy following his spells at Paris Saint-Germain and Galatasaray.
Despite being off to a hot start in this year’s Super Lig campaign with 9 goals in 12 league appearances, Icardi is reportedly interested in making a comeback in Serie A.
As a result, calciomercato.com reports that the Argentine international has been offered to Roma and Milan who in turn want to secure additional attacking reinforcements at the end of the season.
Icardi’s contract with PSG runs out next year, which means he will seek a permanent deal in the upcoming summer window. The player would be eligible for growth decree, facilitating a deal with an Italian club given his large salary of €9 million which could be spread across a long-term contract.
