Former Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini criticized Jose Mourinho’s team in a recent interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, questioning fan attendance at the Stadio Olimpico in light of inconsistent results on the pitch.
“I don’t understand how Roma can have a sold-out stadium for every home game,” said the Italian executive.
“These are things that should happen when a team puts on a show. This only happens because people trust Mourinho. There’s nothing more to it.”
