Real Sociedad manager Imanol Alguacil was once again faced with a disappointing performance from his men in last night’s scoreless draw with Cadiz in La Liga.
At full-time, the Spanish technician addressed his concerns ahead of the first leg of Europa League playoffs with Roma at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Thursday night.
“I don’t think the players will let themselves be influenced by this result, even if when we tried to turn the game around they created an opportunity out of nothing but the team won’t get disoriented because of a draw in the league,” he told Marca.
“Let’s see if we can make our fans happy against Roma,” he added. “We haven’t given them enough at home this season.”
