Liverpool goal-keeper Alisson Becker reiterated his fondness for Roma – a club which represented briefly for one spectacular season in 2017-18 which saw him help carry the Giallorossi to a historic Champions League semifinal.
Following Liverpool’s elimination from the tournament in last night’s defeat with Real Madrid, Alisson was asked about his past as a Giallorossi player.
“I am fond of Italy. I love Italy,” he told Sky Sport at full-time.
“My daughter was born in Italy. Obviously I follow Roma. Forza Roma always,” he added. “Now I have a few days off and I will definitely come to Italy.”
