Roma defender Chris Smalling is closing in on an important personal career milestone.
The English centreback – states forzaroma.info – is about to complete his 100th Serie A appearance with the capital club.
Mourinho and Roma are hoping Smalling will ultimately decide to extend his stay in the Italian capital and accept their long-term proposal for €3.5 million per year.
