Roma are reportedly considering a permanent deal for Diego Llorente.
The Spanish defender – who joined the capital club in January on loan with option to buy from Leeds United – has made good progress over recent weeks and imposed himself as a reliable option off the bench.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Roma have began inquiring about the possibility of activating the option in Llorente’s contract. The club are hoping for a discount from Leeds as the fixed pricetag of €18 million is deemed too high.
Leeds, however, would like to make as much money as possible off Llorente’s sale and are looking for interested clubs in Spain – Villareal are, in fact, in pole position for the ex-Real Sociedad centreback.
