Chris Smalling’s condition is steadily improving ahead of the return leg with Bayer Leverkusen.
The English defender missed the past three weeks with a muscle injury and is now predicted to be available for the final 2-3 games of the season.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Smalling will return to Roma’s squad list on Thursday night.
He will most likely start on the bench and play in limited capacity.
