Earlier today, Roma GM Tiago Pinto met with Sassuolo to discuss the conditions for a deal involving Davide Frattesi.
Frattesi is a long-time target for the Giallorossi and Pinto is intent on beating the competition in the form of Inter and Juventus.
After the meeting – which took place in a restaurant in Milan – Pinto was seen leaving alongside Sassuolo director Giovanni Carnevali.
The pair dodged questions from Sky Sport. Carnevali said, “It’s too early to say anything.”
Meanwhile, Pinto replied laughing, “I’m only here to sell.”
