Tammy Abraham was reportedly in Chelsea’s sights ahead of the summer before picking up a long-term injury.
According to The Athletic, Chelsea were evaluating the possibility of bringing back Abraham two years after his move to the Giallorossi.
The Blues were tempted to activate the buyback clause in Abraham’s contract.
However, the English striker went down with an injury on the last matchday if the season and is expected to miss several months of action.
