Despite several rumours linking Alvaro Morata with a move to Roma, the Spanish striker will remain at Atletico Madrid.
As announced by Atletico’s president himself, Enrique Cerezo, in an interview with Onda Madrid, Morata is off the club’s transfer list after signing a new deal a few days ago.
“When a player signs a contract it means that we are sure that he will play for Atletico Madrid. I don’t understand why certain questions are asked to me when he has just signed a contract,” said Cerezo. “He’s staying.”
