The 21-year-old is reportedly among Roma’s preferred alternatives in case their attempt to sign Sassuolo’s Davide Frattesi were to prove unsuccessful.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Giallorossi monitored Samardzic throughout most of last season.
