Roma announced that midfielder Ebrima Darboe has joined Austrian side LASK on a straight loan deal for the upcoming 2023/24 season.
The move gives Darboe the opportunity to re-find his form after he missed the entirety of last season due to a knee injury. He suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in late July and underwent surgery a week later at Klinik Gut in St. Moritz, Switzerland.
His last appearance for the Giallorossi came in the Conference League versus CSKA Sofia in December 2021. In total, the 22-year-old has made 11 appearances for the Roma first team, spread across Serie A, the Europa League and the Conference League.
