Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini was recently targeted by Saudi Arabian clubs.
In recent weeks, the Italian midfielder was approached by Al-Ittihad and Al-Nassr, both interested in acquiring him ahead of next season.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, one of the two sides even went as far as offering him €20 million per season.
Pellegrini, however, promptly declined this offer as he continues to be focused on carrying Roma as club captain and one of Mourinho’s most trusted team leaders.
