Tammy Abraham exited last night’s game against Sampdoria with a knock to the ankle.
The Roma attacker had to be subbed off in the second half with a pained expression on his face.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Abraham will undergo tests later today to reveal the extent of the injury.
However, the newspaper reports that there is optimism regarding his availability for the Milan showdown in the new year. The attacker was even reportedly heard saying to some journalists after the final whistle, “The ankle’s fine, just hurts a bit. I should be okay for Milan.”
