After last night’s impressive display, Tammy Abraham will not be joining England’s national team during this international break.
Despite having been called up by Gareth Southgate, Abraham will reportedly stay behind in the Italian capital.
According to Sky Sport, the English striker has been suffering from lower back pain and will use the next two weeks as an opportunity to recover from this minor injury.
Abraham had been reportedly feeling uncomfortable for the past two games and an agreement between the club’s medical staff and the national team was reached earlier today with Abraham receiving the green light to stay in Rome.
