Adrien Rabiot after Roma loss: “We were better than them.”

Andy Mattioli

Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot was upset with his side’s defeat at the Stadio Olimpico, and pointed to the numerous chances the Bianconeri had to go ahead in tonight’s Serie A showdown with Jose Mourinho’s Roma.

“Leaving the pitch tonight I can honestly say we were frustrated and disappointed, but that’s normal when you lose a game like this with so many chances,” he told Sky Sport. “It’s football. We were much better than them tonight, but the ball didn’t go in.”

“We have to continue like this, we showed a lot tonight. We have to keep working, there’s another match on Thursday. We are aware that we are strong, that we have a quality team. We knew before the match that Roma conceded few goals at home and that today would be difficult.”
