AEK Athens have withdrawn from the race for out-of-favor Roma fullback Rick Karsdorp.
The Greek side had come forward as potential suitors to the player who’s been excluded from Roma’s project.
However, Corriere dello Sport reports that AEK never deepened their interest in the ex-Feyenoord man and are now longer pursuing him.
The newspaper adds that Karsdorp’s agent is trying to find him a new club to join either in France, Germany or Holland.
On Sunday, it was announced that Karsdorp would train separately from the team and will not take part in Roma’s preseason training.
