After delays, Roma request €5m discount on Milik

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis continues to delay the transfer of Arek Milik to Roma due to outstanding fines that haven’t been payed by the player.

Alessandro Austini of Il Tempo has reported that because of these continued delays on the part of the Partenopei, Roma has requested a €5 million discount on the transfer fee for the Polish international.

Milik has already underwent a portion of his medical examinations with the Giallorossi but Napoli continue to refuse to give the final “OK” for the deal to be completed. De Laurentiis fined the striker last year for “unauthorised publicity and image use” after Milik did an advertisement for a restaurant that he owns.

It remains to be seen how this will affect talks as Roma must complete the deal for Milik before allowing Edin Dzeko to join Juve.
