Roma won’t have any players on international duty for the upcoming break.
Sky Sport has reported this evening that local healthy authorities have communicated to Roma that their players are barred from traveling — including within Italy.
Because Roma’s Edin Dzeko tested positive for COVID on Friday, the ASL (local healthy authorities) have informed the club that in order to respect the COVID-19 protocols that were instituted in the country — they can not allow the players to travel.
The move could be a blessing in disguise for Roma as it will allow Paulo Fonseca’s men to gain extra rest during the international break.
