Ag. Defrel: “Talks have stalled because of issues between Roma and Cagliari”.

Giampiero Pocetta, the agent of Roma’s Gregoire Defrel, spike today to Tuttomercatoweb about the situation involving the Frenchman. The striker has been on the verge of a move to Cagliari for over a week, however, the Sardinian club and Roma have disagreed over the payment method of the operation in order to close the transfer. These are his words:

“The agreement between Roma and Cagliari was almost reached, we were discussing meetings to close and define everything as early as this week”.

Then the negotiation stalled.
Yes, because of issues between the clubs and certainly not between us and Cagliari. It concerns the clubs – there’s a bit of a gap that just be closer. It has nothing to do with me, Gregoire or commissions.

Gregoire doesn’t have a lack of interest.
I repeat, things are frozen at the moment (with Cagliari). Gregoire is a Roma player and deserves respect. The market is still open and we will choose the best route for everyone.
