After a successful loan spell at Milan from Everton, Gerard Deulofeu appears to be returning to Barcelona. However, his stay at the Spanish club may be brief. Barcelona have a €12 million option to buy the player back and it’s likely they will exercise this option and then sell the player to the highest bidder. After selling Momo Salah, one hypothesis for the 23 year old, Spanish winger is Roma.
Speaking to Romanews Webradio today, the player’s agent, Gines Carvajal, expressed that his client would be open to a potential move to Roma:
“It’s hard to say now, but AS Roma are a great club and they are a possible destination.”
