Italian agent Daniele Piraino, spoke today to zerocinquantuno.it regarding his client Amadou Diawara, who was heavily linked with Roma over the summer but inevitably ended up at Napoli:
“Diawara? The most concrete solution was that with Roma, but it was linked strictly to the sale of Leandro Paredes. Then in the last days of the transfer market, Milan seriously inserted themselves into talks. However, Napoli always represented the the first choice of Amadou.”
