Today, Diego Tavano, the agent of the Roma third-choice keeper Daniel Fuzato, spoke to TeleRadioStereo about the future of his client.
The young Brazilian has been attracting interest both in Italy and abroad: he is expected to leave on loan this summer to gain more experience.
“Daniel is held in high esteem in Brazil. Roma did well in scouting him — his contract was about to expire with Palmeiras and they managed to purchase him,” said Tavano.
”His first season was meant to be a learning experience, but that extended into this season, too. The Giallorossi continue to believe in him a lot, the project with Daniel is going forward: he’s a fantastic lad”.
”However, he won’t remain on the bench for another year to be a third-choice, that’s for sure. It doesn’t matter if he stays in Italy or not, all that matters is that he plays”.
He continued, “(Roma goalkeeper coach) Savorani is top: Daniel has changed his way of parrying and has improved a lot under him. We hope that Daniel can combine his talent with what he is learning here with Roma to become a top-level goalkeeper”.
