Hector Herrera is a name that has been linked to Roma and a variety of clubs. The Mexican international’s contract with Porto expires in June as he will be able to join the club of his choice on a free transfer. “Madrid on Hector? Real Madrid have a very strong midfield and are not looking for further reinforcements. This story does not exist, there was no meeting with Lopetegui. I have had a lot of contact with some clubs, but they have not found an agreement with Porto. Hector is totally focused on the season now as he’s the captain of the club. Herrera will remain at Porto until at least 30 June, 2019, he will not leave in January. I will continue to speak with the Portuguese club to find a solution: from today until January I will have many conversations with the club’s management staff”.
