Porto midfielder Hector Herrera has been heavily linked with a move to Roma since the summer. The Mexican international’s contract with the Portuguese outfit expires at the end of this season and the player has been drawing further interest throughout Europe. Today, one of the agents of the player, Gabiel Moraes, discussed his situation to O Jogo. These are his words:
“Herrera? This will be the most important contract of his life, everyone knows that he is a great professional, who has never created problems and has always worked hard, even in difficult moments. At the end of last season, I spoke with Porto and asked for a European-level salary. Last year there was an offer of €25 million from Lyon, but Porto asked for €40 million, which was the amount of his release clause.”
