Mario Giuffredi, the agent of Napoli’s Elseid Hysaj and Roma’s Jordan Veretout, spoke to Radio Marte about the situation of the Albanian fullback, who has been linked to the Giallorossi. These are his words:
“Between tonight and tomorrow I will go to Dimaro and talk to my (Napoli) clients (Hysaj, Di Lorenzo and Rui) to see how they’re doing and take stock of the transfer market situation, especially concerning Hysaj. Then I’ll talk to Giuntoli and Ancelotti. I don’t think Hysaj will stay at Napoli, we’ll work until the end to take him to a different club because as of now, Napoli has five fullbacks in the roster. I believe his time at Napoli is finished. Hysaj has a two years of contract remaining and is coming off a bad season. Certain figures in today’s market should be considered, but I don’t want to bicker about price with Napoli. The club must realise it’s time for the lad to leave. Atletico Madrid were interested and we talked about him for a month, but their offer was low compared to Napoli’s asking price and then they turned to Trippier. There’s other possibilities at stake and we’re waiting for them to mature”.
