Kostas Manolas is one of the most talked-about Roma players every transfer market session. His agent, John Evagelopoulos, spoke today to Sport MS regarding his client’s future:
Could Manolas leave in January?
There is no more news, what the newspapers release is plenty.
Is a sale in the summer more likely?
I wouldn’t say that but I think if something were to happen, it’d be in the summer, in general in football and in life it is difficult to make such predictions.
Manolas could go to China?
Kostas has the chance to play at a higher level and won’t go to China. Football in Europe has things to offer beyond money, such as fame and recognition.
Which league would Manolas prefer to play in?
Self-confidence is an important factor and Kostas has this of a high level. I do not know where he wants to play, we must see which teams want him. A €40 million offer from Arsenal was rejected in the summer by Roma. They (Arsenal) have always been interested but Roma’s demands have always been too high.
