Patrik Schick is set to return to Roma as it appears RB Leipzig will not be keeping him permanently following his loan spell.
The player’s agent, Pavel Paska, confirmed today to Bild that the Czech attacker will return to the Italian capital following the conclusion of the German side’s adventure in the Champions League.
“As of today, after the Champions League, Patrik will return to Roma”, said Paska.
RB Leipzig sporting director Markus Krösche also confirmed the news saying, “Nothing has changed in all this time, our positions continue to be very far apart.”
RB Leipzig possessed a €29 million option to buy Schick, but they considered it excessive and chose not to exercise it, though, they remain keen on keeping the former Samp man on a permanent basis.
