Ag. Veretout: “Napoli? He’s fine at Roma, we’ve recently discussed a contract renewal.”

The agent of Roma midfielder Jordan Veretout dismissed rumors that have linked his client with a summer move to Napoli.

Mario Giuffredi appeared on Radio Kiss Kiss and, once again, discussed the longstanding interest of Napoli for the services of his client.

“A future for Jordan in Napoli? No, he’s fine at Roma,” he said.  “We recently discussed a contract renewal so I think it’s impossible that Jordan joins Napoli.”

The ex-Nantes man is currently out injured but Giuffredi assured that he will be back in action following the international break.

“He’ll be available once the break is over. He’s ready to get started again and pick back up where he left out. We’re convinced that he’ll continue to do what he was doing before.”
