Mario Giuffredi, the agent of Roma midfielder Jordan Veretout, was interviewed by Radio Kiss Kiss and was asked about the transfer rumors linking his client to Napoli.
“It’s no mystery that Napoli has always liked Jordan,” said Giuffredi.
“Just like last season and just like now, Jordan is fine at Roma, he wants to stay. We need to meet with whoever the new sporting director will be and understand some things. However, his desire is to remain at Roma and not leave”.
Veretout turned out to be one of the most important players in Paulo Fonseca’s in side throughout the 2019/2020 campaign. The Frenchman had 33 league appearances to his name and scored 6 goals.
