Ag. Veretout: “There was no meeting with Napoli. He wants to remain at Roma”.

Mario Giuffredi, the agent of Roma midfielder Jordan Veretout, spoke to ForzaRoma.info today after rumors emerged that the Frenchman met in Napoli yesterday with Cristiano Giuntoli, the sporting director of the Partenopei.

“There’s nothing with Napoli, this story is a disgrace,” said Giuffredi.

“Veretout is fine with Roma and wants to remain with the Giallorossi. There was no meeting with Giuntoli — I am from Napoli and it just so happens that my clients come to visit me”.

“Jordan had to come pick-up a car for nearly three months, so since he was suspended for the match against Sevilla, he came here to come and get it. We went to dinner and didn’t see anyone”.
