Ag. Veretout: “What was written yesterday was wrong — Jordan will remain in Rome”.

Mario Giuffredi, the agent of Roma midfielder Jordan Veretout, appeared on Centro Suono Sport today to clarify his comments from yesterday.

Giuffredi was reported to have said that Napoli could make a summer move for his French client, however, he denied that this is what he actually said.

”There was some bullshit that was written yesterday. I’m happy to talk to journalists, but there’s some journalists from my city (Napoli) that I’m better off staying quiet about,” he said.

”It’s clear a journalistic mistake was made yesterday. Jordan chose Roma over four other offers and he’s comfortable there. I’ve also got a good relationship with Roma — I don’t want neither Jordan nor the team to have issues”.

“I’m sorry this created controversy, if I were a supporter — I would have been pissed, too, if I read the words I supposedly said. Jordan will certainly remain in Rome”.
