Zaniolo’s agent, Claudio Vigorelli, intervened recently in order to clarify his client’s future objectives to Corriere dello Sport. Vigorelli touched upon the rumors regarding negotiations over a contract renewal.
“For the moment there aren’t any on-going negotiations for a contract renewal or extension with the club.”
“Zaniolo is totally focused on finishing the season in the best of ways and approach the upcoming Conference League games with the highest level of engagement and determination.”
Vigorelli also insisted on highlighting the importance of the World Cup for his client:
“Most importantly, Zaniolo is focusing on the national team engagements that could lead to the even more important objective that is the next World Cup.”
