Agreement in place between Roma-Genoa for Juan Jesus, who has yet to accept the transfer

After several weeks of negotiations with multiple clubs, Roma defender Juan Jesus is nearing an exit from the Italian capital.

The defender has been out of the plans of Roma boss Paulo Fonseca and the club is eager to remove the former Inter man’s wages from their books.

Alfredo Pedullà of SportItalia has reported that the Giallorossi and Genoa have reached an agreement on a fee for the transfer of the Brazilian to Liguria, however, the player has yet to say “yes” to the move to Il Grifone.

Juan Jesus made only four league appearances for the club last season and a move away appears imminent.
