Roma defender Gianluca Mancini has tied his own future with the capital club’s by reaching an agreement for his contract renewal.
After an automatic extension until 2026 was triggered earlier in the year, Il Tempo reports that Roma have secured Mancini’s services for an additional season.
The Giallorossi have reached an agreement to extend Mancini’s contract until 2027.
The new contract implies an increased salary. However, the player’s actual wages will be lower than expected: Mancini will reportedly earn less than €3 million.
The deal involves additional bonuses that are conditioned by the number of appearances the defender will make with the club.
