Lorenzo Pellegrini is one step away from signing his contract renewal that will tie him to the club until 2026.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma and the player have reached an agreement for the captain’s contract renewal.
There are still minor details to be settled regarding specific bonuses and image rights included within the extension, but the overall deal is all agreed upon.
Roma are expected to announce the agreement in the coming days and end any exit speculation regarding the midfielder, who has been one of the standouts for the Giallorossi so far this season.
Pellegrini is off to the best start of any season in his senior career after tallying six goals and two assists in 8 appearances in all competitions.
